Then perhaps we can both agree to acknowledge that it happened and that we have no intentions of repeating it, after which we may consider the matter resolved.

At least that is what I would propose, if the situation was within our control. I do not believe that either of us are entirely at fault. It is clear to me that we were under the influence of a Noctium anomaly once again.

Not necessarily. Now that we have experienced it we should be alerted to the sensation if it happens again, allowing us to take steps to avoid repetition of the situation.

Number One. I find the professional and personal relationships we have created to be both challenging and fulfilling. I do not wish to further jeopardize them if it can be avoided.

Affirmative. As long as we are both in agreement, I believe we may prevent the reoccurrence of such events.

Most people seem to have transformed into the same thing each time.

And there's some interesting views on sex.

Have you undertaken a transformation yourself?

Not yet. According to most people that's unusual.

I also had months where I did not change.

Regarding sexual intimacy during transformation phases however, I am not sure if you are aware that a number of the species we transform into have what are considered 'aphrodisiac' effects.

For example, the ink I can secrete is a known example, as is Doctor Scully's naga venom. Whether intended or not, these attributes can affect the willingness of those around them.

( though he's also the only one she's had sex with. and really, even for manna, she wasn't really thinking about that. she's getting by just fine on her own )

So not only do I have to look out for other effects also these aphrodisiacs. I have a feeling it's not supposed to be easy.

I am unsure if it is a property of all transformations. I do not believe so, for Jim it seems to further amplify his personality traits more than anything.

The Doctor and I decided to freeze samples of our ink and venom during our last transformation. We intend to run tests on them in order to find out if perhaps they share a chemical composition which explains the effect.

[Because how useful would that be? if they could find it, they could synthesize something to block it.]

I have to admit, I'm concerned about what'll happen when I transform. Or if I never do.

I was not intending to run tests in the presence of others unless necessary, however I shall inform you of their occurrence if that is what you wish.

Which concerns specifically? In my experience the transformations themselves are not painful, it is merely uncomfortable or disorientating.

What form it'll be, how it'll feel, if I'll be myself. And if there's a reason why I haven't transformed will that affect it?

Unfortunately those are all queries we cannot answer until the transformation in question takes place.

have you experimented much with the 'abilities' said to be present within us due to the sapphire gem bond?

I have to admit, I haven't really tested anything out.
I'm okay with just being me.
